Agent Knowledge Base
The Knowledge Base page lets you manage which knowledge sources your AI agent can access to answer customer questions.
Accessing Agent Knowledge Base
- Go to Agents in the sidebar
- Click on the agent you want to configure
- Click the Knowledge Base tab
How It Works
By default, a new agent doesn't have access to any knowledge sources. You need to explicitly assign knowledge to give your agent the information it needs.
The page shows all your knowledge bases in a single view, split into two sections:
| Section | Description |
|---|---|
| Assigned | Knowledge sources currently assigned to this agent (toggle is on) |
| Available | Knowledge sources you've created that can be assigned (toggle is off) |
Each row shows the knowledge base name, description, and creation date.
Assigning and Removing Knowledge
Use the toggle switch on each row to assign or unassign a knowledge source instantly:
- Toggle on — assigns the knowledge source to this agent
- Toggle off — removes the knowledge source from this agent
You can also use the search bar at the top to filter knowledge bases by name or description.
Don't Have Any Knowledge Sources?
If no knowledge sources appear, you need to create them first.
